Can I ghetto switch cooling shrouds

I have a 780ti evga cooler acx, but I feel it is rather loud but i also have a his hs 7950 that isn't working, so I was wondering can i mount that cooler on the 780ti. I saw how the arctic accelero 3 could fit on both, so that is what made me question.

You generally can't swap the fan/heatsink from one card to another different card. The stock heatsink assembly was designed to fit that one graphics card. Things like size and orientation of the GPU die not lining up would make this not work. The cards also also completely different.

The Arctic Accelero 3 however was actually designed to fit on more than one type of graphics card and that would be a more ideal solution.
