Hi
Probably already other threads out there for my answer but everyone got different specs,
new to this whole pc building, replacing parts
I currently run a
MoBo - Asrock FM2A88M-HD+ R3.0 Supports Socket FM2+ 95W / FM2 100W processors
CPU - Amd A6 Duel 6400k
GPU - Nvidia GT710
PSU - EVO labs Pentium P4 model E 500BR 500w
Ram - 8Gb DDR3

Now my question is would my power supply keep up/cope with a GTX 750 or a 750ti?
or would upgrading my PSU first be the best option?

Solution
Wow, a £10 PSU. That is the lowest cost for a PSU I have ever seen

......and you likely got what you paid for. Your first clue to this should be the 30 day warranty

From the label you have a 500W PSU with 288W on the 12V rails.

So really more like an acceptable 350W PSU.

Based on the label information you should be okay, although honestly I wouldn't trust the label on this PSU to be accurate. Still, should be enough.

I...
Yes you can you have a 500 watt psu it will be fine for gtx 750 ti 400 watt is enough. But i dont know about your psu brand.I dont know is it good so i think you should check that with someone else so far the wattage is perfect.I dont know about the warranty get xfx or corsair

I would replace the PSU not on whether it can power a 75W GPU but because of the risk of it blowing up and frying the whole computer.

Thankyou for your replies, slightly mixed views there which has thrown my whole operation of upgrading to the gtx 750 out the window.

Short and sweet, the GTX 750 Ti will work but someday your PSU may pop, replace it.

And why don't you go for the newer, much faster GTX 1050 Ti? Same 75W power profile.
