Question Can i have 144hz with HDMI(2.0 on dell G3) to DVI cable ? or HDMI to DP ? (Acer XB240H Monitor)

Hey guys,

Like specified in the tittle, i'm trying to get 144hz on the Acer XB240H.
i have a Dell G3 3579 (i5 8300H, GTX 1050ti, Hdmi 2.0)

is there any way to get 144hz from my 2.0 HDMI to DVI/DP ?

There are HDMI to DP adapters available for up to 120 Hz at 1080p.

Thanks for the response but isn't there any other option ? spending 100$ just to get 120hz when hdmi now (1.4 +) can hundle 144hz as i see everywhere but the manufacturer are locking there monitors to not be able to...

There are currently no HDMI to DP adapters capable of higher than 120 Hz at 1080p unfortunately. If your laptop has USB-C with video output capability, you can use a USB-C to DP adapter, but other than that, it won't be possible to get 144 Hz.
