Can I have 2 sata3 drives on my rig?

I have a Samsung SSD 120gb as the boot drive and I am trying to add a Western Digital 1TB SATA3 HDD for storage. It installs the drivers but the drive does not show in My Computer. Device Manager says that drivers are up to date and device is working fine. I believe the issue might have something to do with RAID mode setup. When I setup RAID mode in the BIOS and restarted the boot priority recognized the WD HDD but the SSD was nowhere to be found. This is my first build and I am not an expert. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you initialize the Drive in windows ? If not go to computer management and go to disk management and initialize it. New drives tend to not show up in windows if you don't go to disk management.

Thank you, (did some research on disk initialization thanks to you) I already solved the issue by initializing the drive and formatting it like you said. Got some good troubleshooting in as well lol.
