Can i have 24 gb ram?

I currently have 8x2 8gb sticks in my mobo that has 4 slots can i add only one to make it 24
(btw not planning to i know i dont need it im just curious)

Hello... Having match pairs is typical for MB Bio's to work Best with... 2x4gb would be a better choice, with your current 2x8gb set.
