Can i have a 64 bit win 7 as a server and a 32 bit xp pro as a work station

I want to know if I have a 64 bit win7 pro OS on my server will it work with my work stations that have XP pro 32 bit

it depends what you are trying to do but generally speaking yes the win7 pro workstation software can communicate with the winXP pro workstation software. neither one is a server operating system though so they cannot be used as a DHCP server, or mailserver, etc but you can still share folders, files and printers.
