Can I have both?!

On my new PC I am going to have a WIFI card but in the future I'll most likely be changing to Ethernet. So I was wondering if I would be able to get a WIFI card but also use the Atheros Killer E2201 LAN chip that comes with my Motherboard. ALSO would the rest of my family be able to use the Wireless internet is i'm connected with Ethernet?

You can have both in there, but the system will only use one at a time.

Absolutely. Its that simple. If both are connected to the same network, the Ethernet will win out as far as Windows goes. But they both can connect just fine.

most home routers have 4 ethernet ports and a wifi signal. yu can use both at the same time.

if you are plugging into the back of a wireless router, then yes. as smorizio said, most routers have 4 Ethernet ports. Depending on your ISP, you may have a modem/router combo.
