So i already have 4x2 8gb RAM and i am going to buy 16gb (2x8) soon. I was wondering if i can add it with the 8gb ram and have 24gb or i will have to replace and have 16gb.

i have 4 slots.

correct, sometime work, sometime don't.
better chance if you have slow speed ram.
