I want to buy a SSD but my father doesn't want it, even though it's my computer and my money. I know, WTF... So, can I hide the SSD so no one but me can access and see it, but it can still be working?
When you install it, go into file explorer, click on the ssd, go down to properties and name it hard drive. Hell never know unless he opens up the computer.

Unless you set it up as the boot drive and install programs on it would be silly to have an SSD just for hidden storage. And if it's a boot drive, no way to hide that. If it's your system and you are paying for it, an SSD is pretty cheap now, it's not like years ago when a 120 gb ssd was $100.
If your father knows where to look, he'll find it (hint: BIOS, Disk Management). If you boot off SSD, and do not want to have another drive letter for your HDD, you can "mount" it as a folder in the SSD from within DIsk Management.
