I just ordered a netduma r1 since I really need a new router due to lag. My modem was set up in my livingroom with super short cables in the front of the house and my gaming pc and xbox one are in my bedroom at the very back of the house and even with my console and pc hooked up to a wifi extender via ethernet cable I still only have one bar in games like cod black ops 3. So I'm wondering if I get a modem with built in wifi can I connect it up to the netduma using wifi instead of an ethernet cable which I would like to put in the middle of my house for best range since I won't be able to move the modem?

It can be done.. However it can be quite tricky depending on the hardware used. Also you might have to use special hardware. Someone else probably can tell you exactly how to do it as I really would have a hard time explaining all the details in layman's terms.

why would it be so tricky? And If I need a different modem I can go out and buy one or whatever. I don't have a ton of money but I'm not anywhere near broke either I just don't want ethernet cables through out my house since I have a blind dog and it would probably trip him...

Most Wifi routers are not designed to have internet coming in from the Wifi and then broadcast it on another Wifi anntenna and or channel. You might be best off using what is called a Wifi repeater. They are made to do exactly what you want, to take a Wifi signal and rebroadcast it. Some even have Ethernet ports as well. Other options are using a powerline Ethernet adapter to get the internet from the modem to any power jack in the house, then you could use a regular Wifi router no problem without any special setup or settings.

I already have a tp link wifi repeater... And it sucks... It never works and if anything it makes my wifi signal worse....
