You can run an xbox on a monitor, all it is is a visual display after all. No to the keyboard though in my experience.

You can use a monitor with your Xbox 360 as long as it has an HMDI input. A USB keyboard should be detected and work with your Xbox 360, but you won't be able to use it to control games. It really only works in places where you need to input text, like when you have to sign into your account with a password or send a message to someone.

Can I just say that Xboxes (to the best of my knowledge) don't run Windows 8?
