So recently i built my pc.GREAT. But i was wondering, my pc is windows 10 and i have a macbook pro, i want to know if i can hook both of them up together, but if possible, i want to have both of them casting the windows stuff, and for me to continue using windows 10. I see a bunch of people do this but the monitor turns to mac which i don't like very much. Thank you and if you could provide the name of the cables that would be great

Solution
Unless your mac had an input(like a monitor has) the best you could do would be some kind of remove desktop(and I do not think that will cut it for you.).
Please explain in more detail what you want to do?

You can have then share files on the same network with SMB on the mac side and the normal windows networking(samba).

Remote desktop between systems should work with many different software packages that run on macos and windows. This would allow you to access and control on system from another. This is useful, but I would not use it to play games or anything like that.

To explain further what I want is, I have a gaming pc, now I want to add another monitor, but I want to use the macbook pro as an extra monitor. So basically I want to still have all of my files and everything showing, but I also want the macbook pro to be showing the windows monitor.
