Can i install a GTX 980 on a Gateway DX4870

Planning to upgrade my gpu from a AMD radeon hd 7700 series to a gtx 980. Im just wondering if its compatible with my computer and if it can fit in my pc.I got a 500wat supply heard that should work with the gtx 980

It'd be a close fit, but it might, as long as you're getting the MSI GTX 980.
