[SOLVED] can I install a hard disk access light for only mass storage?

my hard disk access light on my front panel does double duty for both SSD and hard disk. Is there a way I can hook up a second light that will report accesses for only the hard disk? Ideally, I could bifurcate both functions so one light could report for SSD activity and the other for hard disk activity. Is that even possible?

The storage activity LED is wired to the motherboard which in essence monitors all activity done by the storage or to the storage. So that would be no.

the only way I know of to accomplish this is to add a storage controller card with an LED port and only have the SSD controlled by the motherboard.
the ports on the motherboard are all connected via the motherboard.
