Can I install a program without using it's default installer.

I got watchdogs(game),from one of friends yesterday.The setup files of the game have been divided a put in 5 different DVD's.One of the dvd's has the autorun.exe file which will install the game,when i tried to run it,it said that lua5.1.dll was missing so i copied the whole content of the dvd to a folder on my hardisk and the downloaded the dll file and pasted it in the folder along with other files.Now i again tried to run the autorun.exe and it worked and a dialog box came up with many options and one of them was Install.I clicked it and the dialog box closed on it's own and after that nothing happened.I think that the .exe file is corrupt so is there some other way to install this without using that autorun.exe file

If you were to actually buy the game and install it normally, your issues would go away.

Looks like your friend brought a pirated copy of the game. If he paid money for it he has been swindled. Get a legitimate copy from steam here's the link
