Can I install a second OS in my D drive?

I already have a Win 7 installed in my C drive and I wish to dual boot my laptop with Windows Server 2012. But, I don’t have enough space in my C drive. Can I install the 2nd one in my D drive?

Yes, sure you can, in fact it's preferred way for dual boot. Make sure you disconnect first drive until you install second OS. Also download and use http://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/ to easily make BOOT menu on first (BOOT) system so you don't have to make changes to BIOS every time you want to switch.
