Hi,i got a Powerlogic magnum 415 power supply and yesterday i got a DC 12V,36W sever fan from a friend of mine.I want to know whether i can safely run this fan on my pc without killing the powers supply.these are my specs:

CPU:core 2 quad q8400 2.66ghz
Motherboard:Asrock G41M-S3
Graphics card: Asus GT610 2gb silent (overclocked to its maximum)
Ram: 8gb

*i have also got another DC12V , 0.17A cooling fan which is already installed to cool the processor

Solution
A 36 watt server fan? THat's 3 amps on a 12V line. How big is this thing, 20 inches? Is it made by Holmes?

I whacked your parts list into PCpartpicker, and you're running about 200+ watts, depending on your hard drive(s) so you have the power to spare, but that is a ridiculously powerful fan. It might be very loud.
