JackNaylorPE :
There's no such thing as a "Windows 7 hard Drive". What I think you mean is a Hard Drive on which Windows 7 was installed. If teh hardware from the machine it was inatalled on is identical to the one you want to put it in, no problem. If not, wipe the hard drive clean by formatting it and install window from the DVD.
The reason you see the yellow marks is that you have drivers installed for hardware that isn't being found and hardware installed for which their are no drivers.
Thanks so much for the quick response, Jack.
So, yes I took a hard drive from a Hewlett-Packard laptop and placed it in a Toshiba.
So I guess I have to start replacing drivers.
I thought that Windows 7 had the software for the drivers already.
But I guess since it can't get to the internet. They wouldn't work.
Everything else works. The display works.
The Toshiba is just for interim use until I get the HP laptop's display repaired.
The USB ports works.
But the one exception that I do know of is the Verizon Air Card that previously worked in
my HP laptop.
Every thing else appears to work on the laptop with the exception of the Verizon Air Card.
The computer itself is a Toshiba Satellite A215.
Do I download drivers for the Toshiba's Wireless: Atheros AR5007EG B/ card or do I download drivers for the HP hard drive
