Can I install an OS using a USB?

Im building my own PC but i didnt order a optical drive. Is it possible to put my windows 10 OS disk into my macbook pro to transfer it to a USB drive, then use that to install onto my new PC or should i suck it up and buy an optical drive?

Yeah, just use RUFUS (a free application) to install the window to a usb and make it bootable (requires 3 clicks only), and you will be able to install it from the USB. No worries.

if your ordering windows 10 it comes on usb stick in the retail package. if not from any other pc take a blank 8g usb stick and use the microsoft media creation tool that free. if you have windows 10 on disk use the free windows iso to usb tool.
