Hello so I want to upgrade my gpu on my pre-built computer(Hp pavilion 500-451x) will the asus ph gtx 1050 work on my computer?

Solution
Not 100% sure without knowing the actual measurements.

Measure the length of the red box.
If the red box is longer than 174mm / 6.85", then you should be fine.

Height/width shouldn't be a problem.

It should, but there may be space constraints within the case.

You need an available PCIe x16 slot - which the Memphis-S board has

And a PSU capable of running it.
The 1050 is a 75W card - the system has a 300W unit.

The balance of the components should be an i5-4460 (max 84W) and, say ~30W for the RAM, HDD etc
That's a max load of about 190W on a "300W" unit, which probably has 20-22A on the 12V rail (so 240-264W) so should be more than adequate.

I cannot confirm the details of the PSU though. If you had a pic of the labelling on the side of the PSU, that would help.

I'm not sure - do you have a pic of the inside of the case? I would expect a small variant of the 1050 should fit, but can't say definitively.

As for the PSU, it depends on whether the the existing PSU is a standard form factor.

It may be simpler to transplant the motherboard etc to a new case, but wiring up front panel connectors can be a bit tricky.

Looks like you have something (a GPU, perhaps?) installed in the x16 slot. But a smaller 1050 model should fit just fine.
Something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/G3H48d/zotac-geforce-gtx-1050-2gb-mini-video-card-zt-p10500a-10l

As for the PSU, looks like a dual 12V rail from what I can read there...... but the max combined on the +3.3 and +5V is 103W, so that leaves 197W, roughly 16A on the 12V rail.

It's a little close for comfort for me personally, and I'd replace - although chances are good it would probably work.

Looks to be a standard ATX PSU (form factor), so should be able to replace it and keep everything in the same case.

Will this one fit https://www.zotac.com/us/product/graphics_card/zotac-geforce-gtx-1050-oc#spec
it's a little bit bigger than the one you sent.
