I'm building a PC but don't currently have Internet, so I can't install the updated drivers for my hardware.

Is It possible to take my USB memory stick and go to a friends house with Internet, download the files for the drivers onto the USB, then install them onto my PC until I get Internet?

Solution
Sure. Just be sure you get the correct drivers for your os version, motherboard, gpu, etc. Drop all of them on a usb and go. Make sure you read the web sites to see if there are any instructions like "install this before you install that".

Do you think it'd be possible to download something like that using a hotspot through the LTE on my phone? I don't know if Verizon LTE is powerful enough to do downloads like that when hot spotting my laptop
