I hate Windows operating system. But, I wanted a cheap laptop which is fit for travelling purpose. I wish to install Kali Linux on this machine. Is it possible to install that? Also, would I be able to revert back to Windows later if I want? What I about the original Windows I get with Asus? Do they provide some sort key? Or I need to backup my Windows before installing Linux?

No you cant revert back to the old one without buying windows again.
Nai ho ga.

your basically just gonna screw up your laptop, so i would not try it. And you should use windows, you will get used to it :)

And no ASUS dont provide the key cause you didnt buy the windows, Lets say your laptop came with windows 8.1 and then you download the free win10 upgrade, that is when you can go back to the old windows by going into search and typing reinstall windows, then it installs windows 8.1 again.

But from linux to windows it wont work.

How will I screw it up? We can always install windows 10 if anything wrong happens in case of Linux? Windows 10 is free and will always be(without activation). Anyways activation doesn't provide anything special other than personalisation.

Other way might be. I can clone my hard disk with clonezilla?
