[SOLVED] can i install SAMSUNG 980 500 GB NVMe on Asus PRIME H310M-E motherboard ? n how much speed it can deliver ?

It says, M.2 supports up to 10Gbps data-transfer speeds. So will it be compatible more than 1000Mbps atleast ?

It will be pcie 3.0 x2, which will support up to 2gb/s theoretically, but in practice probably less. Faster than a sata drive, but for what benefit? What do you need nvme for?

No point in installing such an expensive drive only for it to be limited so much by the motherboard in my opinion.

For a system that is primarily games....a SATA III SSD will do just fine.
Samsung 860/870 EVO, or Crucial MX500.
