Hi,

I have a voucher for a local electronics store and I want to upgrade my graphics card. These are the only two within budget

My preference is for the nvidia one - purely because it says it's quiet and that would be a big plus for me. I only use my pc for writing and watching movies - no gaming. Can I install either of these with a 350W power supply?

My specs are

Dell Inc. Inspiron 530
2.4 ghz Intel Core2 Quad
4 gb Ram

ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO (128 mb)

Board: Dell Inc. 0FM586

Power supply: 350W

Cheers!

If I got a beefier card - I don't game so I doubt I'd make use of it - I have a voucher and this is the only part I need to upgrade - even though 128mb does me fine - I'll just switch that one into another pc in my house

If you're only writing and watching movies then why the need for a new graphics card? Btw, both of the linked ones are not much better than integrated, it just seems like a waste to me.

Because I have a 128mb card and I have a voucher - that's the only part of my pc worth upgrading for the money.
