Can i install vista home premium 32 bit on amd athlon x2 64 bit

Hello,
my laptop was running vista home premuim 64bit but i installed windows 7 on it and its giving me problems when starting up....
I have decide to reinstall Vista Home Premuim and realized i only have the 32bit version. Will it be ok to install a 32bit OS on a 64bit system?

and can you say why windows 7 performed a crash dump and run a repair every time i start up

If the laptop ran 64-bit Vista you should have no problems at all with the 32-bit version; presumably this means that drivers are available for all the hardware.

It's a bit difficult to answer your other question. It could be anything, but I would suspect either a corrupted driver or a hardware problem (although that seems unlikely if it was OK before the upgrade); but as I say it's difficult to be more specific than that offhand.
