Can I install windows 7 with 992mb of ram on my computer?

I want to install Windows 7, 32-bit on my computer. I think Windows 7, 32-bit needs 1 GB. I have 992mb of ram. Will I be able to install it?

it might but it will be chuggy. Windows 7 is designed for modern hardware and quite frankly, a rig only with 1GB seems pretty old. Stick with Windows XP if your on it, it's actually less recourse heavy than Windows 7.
