I found my old hardrive to my old desktop and was wondering if I can just plug it into my computer I have now. It does have a version of windows on it and well I don't wanna boot from the old hardrive. I just want to see what files I have on the old HDD. So my question is do I just plug the sata cable and the power cable in and I can view the files? Hope someone can help me!
Note I do have a SATA port on my PC case can I just use that to ciew the files or will I need to install the power cable too
