[SOLVED] Can I launch Live (Hotmail) email via a link, rather than Outlook?

I've not used the stand-alone Outlook or its predecessors in decades, and I don't want to use it or even set it up.

Can I configure Firefox or Chrome to connect email links one finds online by way of a new tab and Windows Live/Outlook Live/Hotmail (whatever they're calling it)? Being unable to email someone who only offers a link, but no visible address I can cut and paste, is quite a drag.

If it is possible, I need to configure both browsers, as Outlook logins fail with Firefox (my preferred browser) quite regularly.

Right-click on the link, "Copy link", then paste it into a Notepad - you'll see the email there.
