Can I make one key type another?

My 'e', 'D', & '3' key no longer work. Can I, for instance, make the ' / ', ' * ', & '-' keys on the num pad type 'e', 'D', & '3'? I already opened it up to see if I could fix a hardware issue.

Call it a thought experiment. I just picked this one up from a thrift store today. I can't let it beat me haha.

Well then - get to work Googling. If the keyboard isn't programmable, I doubt you'll get anywhere with that many keys not working. If it has that many keys not working, I'd say it''s at the end of its life.

I've never tried it, and note that it modifies your registry so you'd need to change things back or another keyboard won't work.

So lesson learned on buying electronic devices from a Thrift store I guess?

Screw that. I'm dedicating this computer to Linux & writing python to cover the tracks.
