Can I make this ram work

Hello,
I currently have F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL
On my Z97-G45 GAMING motherboard. With a G3258 CPU and a good 450 watt power supply
I got a GREAT deal on 16 gigs of F3-1600C9S-8GXM But when I install the
F3-1600C9S-8GXM my system won't boot. Can I make this work in my system. I would be removing the 2x4gb dimms. Thanks!

the F3-12800CL9D chips are 8GB (4GBx2) Dual Channel Kit @ 1600MHz
and
the F3-1600C9S-8GXM chips are 8GB (8GBx1) Single Channel Kit @ Speed 1600MHz

you cannot put 2x4gb and 1x8gb at the same time on the motherboard exchange 1x8gb for 2x4gb and add them on your motherboard

I have tried all combinationset of ram I can think of. 1 8gb 2 x8gb. 2x4gb and 2x8gb. I called both msi and g. Skill. Both said it should work.
