Basically, I have alot of room, except height. Looking at cards without those restrictions, i like the 2070 Super. Problem is, i only have the height for low profile cards, which according to your comparison table will set me back to a 1050... ew....
I remember once before looking into angle adapters for video cards. Will this work with such a powerful, modern, heavy graphics card? And will it be safe.
I'm all ears on other ways to make this work as well (turning the vid card into an external one with a casing and adapter maybe? I dunno)

Solution
You could get out a dremel tool and cut a hole in the side of the case. : D

Or maybe move your components to another case, if you are not too attached to your current one. Listing your complete system specs here (including the case) might be helpful.
If you've got room to turn the GPU with a right angle adapter or extension cable, do that. You'll need to fashion some means of anchoring it though.

I assume you've got some sort of SFF OEM PC (dell/hp). Please share the model number. Many of those machines can't supply the standard 75W to the x16 slot.

Yea ive been looking at 'riser cables' since posting... do using these decrease performance at all? I'll be using the rig for gaming.
Gonna look up ways to then anchor the thing or put in enclosure
