2gb is getting obsolete for maxing out games in the upcoming year, 3gigs is the bar min if your wanting to max out games(Textures, AA etc).
As for watch dogs, I believe it says in the options menu in the textures that ultra takes 3gigs of vram. What will happen if you do? Major FPS loss.
thanks for your respond .. i think i don't need to "completely" max out all upcoming games 2015-2016 ..i meant on Tweaked ultra .. also upcoming games like Dying Light , The Witcher 3 , and AC Unity won't use 3GB Textures, i think you can play them with texture on ultra , AA: off, and sometimes 2xx.
i though it will be dangerous on a 2GB gpu making texture on ultra when the game requires 3GB.
Nah, you'll basically just strangle it. It'll give its all.. major FPS loss about it, and for upcoming games, playing on ultra with AA off and turning down shadows to maybe medium will give you a ton more performance.
Bethesda released the optimal requirements for there new game "The Evil Within" Which I quote:
Recommended PC System Specifications
64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8
i7 with four plus cores
4 GBs RAM
50 GB of hard drive space*
GeForce GTX 670 or equivalent with 4GBs of VRAM
High Speed Internet Connection
Steam account and activation
The only difference in the min specs is the GPU which is much lower and only need 1gb vram. BUT. Just showing that games are going in this direction, requiring alot more vram and power to have the "optimal" playable experience.
