Can I Max out BF3?

Just wondering if I could max out BF3 with a FPS of 35+

My Specs:

GPU- EVGA GTX 650 SuperClocked
CPU- AMD FX 6100 unlocked
MOBO- GA-ds3( forget whole name sorry)
RAM- Corsair Vengance 8GB @1333MhZ
PSU- Apevia 750W

Nope. No way. You would need a much better GPU/CPU for multiplayer.

The 650 can just barely do it @ 1920x1200 (34 FPS), but not totally maxed out (only using FXAA).

Keep in mind that they're using a 3960X there (and OC'd, at that), so with the 6100, you're definitively looking at a few less FPS, at the very least.

Lowering the resolution would help the 650 significantly, but it would show the shortcomings of the 6100 even more. You're kind of damned either way, there.

I would say if you can get 35 FPS average, close to maxed out @ 1080p, you'll be lucky. Probably closer to something in the mid 20's.

With no AA and an OC on your processor you may be able to run high settings at 60fps. Ultra/High settings maybe 35+ with no AA. If you haven't OC your CPU yet then you will need too. This will be the way to get the most out of your GPU.

That is very true.

No doubt that this was an extreme budget build, though. I don't know why anyone would willingly choose a 650 and a 6100 for high end gaming like that, if it wasn't for budget constraints. The Apevia PSU shows the cutting of corners, too. I wouldn't trust that PSU to power anything.

I have tested my 8120 with just 3 cores active (essentially a 6100). The cpu is capable of delivering 100+ fps with minimum fps drops to ~70 in mp maps with a good video card and a solid overclock (4.4+ ghz). the 650 will be the bottleneck.

Sorry for the long wait guys . If your still following this thread what GPU is better at under 160 USD? (You guys were right MAJOR budget build cuz I'm 14 lol)

Your right I should OC it. But I have a stock cooler and I really have no clue on the voltages to put into it after I OC. BTW how much should I OC?
