[SOLVED] can i mix 2 ram brands with diff cl?

hey all,
i have option to buy 2X16 GB ram sticks of diff brand and CL and wonder if it will work together

i need to know if its good idea or not the diff is brand and i have CL15 and what i wanna buy is CL16

sometime it doens't even work with same brand model.
only way to know is to try

I would not try this with ddr4 after reading how many people have problems with mixed sets.

You can make any combinations you want, however memory manufacturers don't guarantee those kind of combinations to be compatible together. Your free to do your own testing with no guarantees.
