I own a gigabyte x570 aorus ultra r7 3800x and 2x8gb trident z 3600 cas 16 samsung b-die F4-3600C16D-16GTZR.
I would like to add one more set of rams to double to 32gb and i'm wandering if i can add a trident z neo pair also 2x8gb 3600 cas 16 without problems. i have 2 options. 1 is F4-3600C16D-16GTZN and 2 is F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC. The first is samsung b-die too and the second is hynix i think. I also notice a difference in some subtimings. Is mixing 2 different kinds of ram with most timings the same safe since it will be same modules per dual channel pair? is it ok to use b-die +hynix?
Thank you in advance

Your odds of working are less than 100%
What is your plan B if it does not work properly?

My suggestion is to buy a supported 2 x 16gb kit with the same specs as the old.
You will have a guaranteed 32gb.
You could then try to install the old kit and if it works, great, you have 48gb.
More likely, it will not work and you can sell the old or keep it as a spare.

I aggree it's a great plan and probablly i will go with it but again should i go for the b die or the hynix as it is cheaper and will it affect my chances for success?
