Can I mix a TV tuner and a graphics card together?

I am taking apart an old E-Machines t6522 and I uncovered an ATI Tuner called the Theater 550PRO. In my gaming rig, I put the old 80mm fan from the emachines. Can I have the TV tuner and my r9 290 together? I doubt it but I just want to make sure. Also, I found 3gb of DDR ram in it. Can I use that with ddr3? Thanks!

You can use the tuner and graphics card together. The TV tuner goes to a PCI slot, the graphics card to a PCI-E slot. OK, maybe you can't - if your MB doesn't have PCI slots. What kind of MB is it?

Throw that DDR away, you can't use it with any motherboard made in recent years.

If you really want a TV tuner in your current PC, you need to buy one that works in a PCI-E x1 slot. Here's an example:
