Can I Mix Diffrent Types of RAM??

I have kingston hyperX fury 2x 4GB 1600mhz ram and are wondering if i should buy 2x 4GB vengeance 1600mhz ram? It costs 30USD. Can i mix these?

Maybe, RAM is finicky which is why its sold in kits as it's been tested to work together. For $30 though I'd give it a shot.
