I have an 8 GB ADATA DIMM DDR4 PC-2400 ram and want to get 16gb ram. Is it possible to mix it with an Hyper X Fury 8GB DDR4 3466MHz ram ?

The rest of my specs are
GTX 1060 6GB OC Edition
I7-7700K4.2GHZ processor
GS550 power suply that is 12 cm
TOMAHAWK Z270 motherboard
Windows 10 Pro

And if its not recommended should I sell my old stick and buy another to match it or should I just consider getting a lower speed ram to match the one I already have ?

You can mix, and in some cases it will work, in some it won't or will cause instabilities or BSODs. No guarantees when mixing RAM, and that's why noone will recommend this.

And if it works, it will work at the speed of slowest stick, meaning 2400MHz. Kinda pointless to go for 3466 on 2nd stick in this case.
