can i mixing 8chip ram and 16chip ram

are this two compatible.

I am pretty sure you cannot do that. All RAM sticks should be exactly the same.

You can mix ram sizes if your motherboard supports only single-channel architecture but if it supports dual-channel than you cannot mix ram, they must be indentical in order to work because in dual-channel memory controller accesses ram in parallel.

I don't think it would matter. Usually you want identical sticks, but if the capacity, frequency and timings are identical it probably will work. I don't think the number of memory chips matters provided the total adds up.

They both seem to be 4GB sticks. I think they might work, but you'll just have to buy it and find out!
If it doesn't work, you will have to buy another stick exactly like the new one.
