[SOLVED] Can I mount my HDD in an SSD area?

Solution
My case has a dedicated area for SSDs, which are basically just holes for mounting the SSD. I recently got a HDD and I was wondering if I could put it in the same place if I use screws to hold it in. Will it be damaged by vibration?

Yes you can.
Just make sure the exposed circuit card on the bottom of the HDD isn't touching anything....and use the right screws etc.

Thickness of the drive (clearance) would be the only issue I see. SSDs are 2.5 inch and thin. HDDs are usually 3.5in and thicker.
