My old system recently broke. So i bought a new system on a selling app and im wondering if i can move my old m.2 drive to the new one. I have no way of clearing the drive before i install it. Is it safe to do so and will it work?

You can reuse drives if they were in good condition in the old system no problem. There is really no reason you would need to clear/wipe it unless you suspect a virus or something of that nature.

The physical drive? If the new system is compatible, sure.
Are you asking about the drive and the OS on it? That's a whole other question.

We need a lot more details on this whole chain of events.
What OS, where did the OS come from, what parts old and new, is this the OS drive, etc, etc.

As much detail as you can.
