Can I move unallocated space to drive C? The option to extend it is greyed out for some reason.

Is it just not possible? I can make a new partition and add to the the other existing partition but for some reason I can't add it to the one that I want? The option to extend is greyed out.

is there a partition in between them?

you may need to extend the one inbetween and then move the space from it until c has unallocated space it can access,

just a thought :)

take a screen shot of disk management and give us a look otherwise

Here is the screenie.

I'm trying to move the 300gbs or so to C as it is where the program files are located but the option is greyed out.

Try Easeus Partition Master. It's free and works when the Windows Disk Management doesn't. As always, be sure to make backups before doing things like this. You probably won't need it, but we know how Murphy loves computers, so the ounce of prevention is well worth it.

Good luck.

It goes into unallocated, but I still can't do anything.

I'll give it a shot then since other options are unavailable.
