Can I move Windows to another drive

I want to know if its possible to move Windows to anther drive

You sure can! The best way to do this is to use hard drive cloning software. A couple of good examples are CloneZilla or HDClone.

you don't move files with clonezilla, you clone the drive.

You're not moving files - - you're "cloning" one drive to another to make an exact copy (Disk-to-disk cloning)

1. What is the make/model of your current boot drive? And what is the TOTAL data contents residing on that drive?

2. Is the boot drive multi-partitioned so that it contains a partition that's SOLELY devoted to containing the OS (which is what?)? If so, what is the size of that partition?

3 Or is the boot drive a single partition with all your programs, data, and the OS mingled together?

4. Does the boot drive boot and function without any problems? Are you basically satisfied with the performance of that drive aside perhaps from its speed of operation and disk-space capacity?

5. What is the disk-space size of the "other" drive you're contemplating as the recipient of the cloned contents of your present boot drive?

6. What are you working with? A desktop PC? A laptop/notebook?
