Can I OC my 6600 on the DS3?

Originally deciding on a 6300 system, I ordered the DS3; I heard great things about OCing the Allendale chips on it. But at the last minute I decided to dish out extra for the 6600, and only now realize that theres a good amount of buzz that the DS3 works great with the 63/64 but not as well with the 66+ (I *do* intend on OCing)

So, since its not too late for me to reverse my order; is there a comparable mb that would pull off better OCing than the DS3?

I've heard much talk about the P5* series, but I already have my ram and know they are very fritzy with what they take;
I got:
(Edit) G.Skill 2x1GB DDR2-800MHz:

Thanks!

I would think since the 6600 has a higher Multi you can reach a much higher clock rate...

Of course the overclocking potential is lesser since its clocked higher.
Thats what they meant by it doesn't overclock as well.

I was under the impression that people have not been having as good of a success rate OCing the Conroe's on the DS3, compared to the Allendales.

What I mean by that is that there is better success OCing a conroe on say the P5W Deluxe than the DS3 (well, that is a much higher end mb..but I hope you get my point)

Unless I'm mistaken?

thank you very much wusy, I was starting to fret...but if you say things are good, then they are good.
