Can i overclock a non K cpu in a H97m Mobo?

Hi! im just curious if i can overclock an i5 4460 3.2 ghz with a MSI H97m Mobo. I just want to know if its possible and if the OC genies in my Mobo bios really work. Thanks!!

nope it isnt possiable simply because it is locked and that means no changing the multipliers

ive seen some information that it is possible by modifying the CPU ratio, any comment on this?

"You can, by changing the BCLK, but it's a lot riskier than changing the multiplier, which you can't do on a non-K CPU."
