You can but you can only do it via the base frequency. You really want to avoid overclocking via a program. Using the bios is the best and most reliable way to do it.

how would i do it? can it be done with amd overdrive?

I should have asked this first, but do u have an aftermarket cooler?

You really don't want to use amd overdrive to overclock. I did it once and it really messed up my computer.
