Can I overclock my CPU even if my motherboard doesn't support it?

I got a Ryzen 3 1200 processor yesterday.

all Ryzen cpu's are unlocked if you wanna OC with a decent build with plenty of cores & few more $ go for the Ryzen 5 Quad or more in a decent build is viable now, your better off depending if your into gaming extra cores are handy.

No, you need a motherboard capable of overclocking too.
Even if you could OC on that board i wouldn't attempt it with it being such a low end one.

You can't overclock as your motherboards chipset (A320) doesn't support it. You need at least a B350 chipset motherboard to overclock.

depends on brand to & brand specific features. Sometimes lower models will let you OC depending on brand on a low end motherboard.
