Hello,
I recently build my first PC and was wondering if I could overclock my RAM. My RAM is Team Group Zeus Overclocking Memory (according to team group's website it is made for overclocking) its stock speed is 1600 mhz and its timings are 6-6-6-24 when I apply its only XMP profile. Ideally, I would like to overclock it to 2133 mhz if possible. My motherboard is a Gigabyte F2A55M-DS2 and my CPU is a AMD A10-5800k. Can I overclock?
Thanks a lot!

Solution
If the are native CL6 give it a try, initially would try 2133 with 9-9-9-24 and prob 1.6 or 1.65 DRAM voltage, can see big increases with multi tasking, imaging, video, VMs, CAD and other data intensive apps, gaming might pick up 6-8 or more FPS 😉
If your ram advertises itself as overclocking memory then it probably has heatsinks, and so you will be able to get a decent overclock, but there is pretty much no point as at most you're going to see like a 2-3 fps increase in games.
