Hey everyone,

I’ve been looking at a prebuilt recently and it’s a pretty good deal.
it’s a pc with a 1080 ti and liquid cooled i7 8700k for only 2k euros.
I really want to buy this pc, but I want to be sure I can overclock the i7 8700k even though it’s a prebuilt.

Can i overclock a prebuilt pc with these specs?

Gpu : Gefore GTX 1080 TI
Cpu : Intel I7 8700k
Motherboard : Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5
Cpu cooler : Enermax Liqmax 240mm
Ram : 16gb 2400mhz DDR4
Storage : 250GB Samsung EVO 860 SSD and 1TB SATA600 7200rpm 32MB
Case : AZZA Dragon Inferno 310 RGB ATX
Psu : Seasonic S12II 620 watt

ps, I know the psu is garbage.
Does that make the whole pc not worth it though?

Yes you can, it is Z370 Board with a 'K' or...

Yes you can, it is Z370 Board with a 'K' or unlocked processor.
Gigabyte Z370 Arous Gaming 5 has 11 power phases I think. So you should be able to get a more stable overclock, and 8700K overclocks like charm. So do enjoy your case and make a fine OC :) And 620W is enough for those components, so I'd say its worth it. Since you can change it whenever for 100 euros.
