can i overclock this to 1866? and how?

On what, and with what (what mobo and CPU), not all mobos can run 1866 and same is true of CPUs...what are the base timings of the stick?

gigabyte GA-F2A75M-HD2 (Rev. 3.0)
i don't know how to check the timings all i know is its cl11 (maybe)
it doesn't have heat spreader is that ok to oc?

Could try, I can't find that stick anywhere, but would generally increase DRAM voltage by + 0.05 and raise each of the 3 main base timings by 1 so if 11-11-11 then go 12-12-12. If indeed it is CL11 you won't gain much

yeah the stick is hard to find, is it okay to overclock ram that doesn't have heat spreader??, so i can try it will there be damage? and will it reach 1866 i know a little about overclocking, can you please enlighten me

It may or might not, I generally always go with GSkill sticks as every set I've used has had at least a step of OC in it, i.e. the 1866 sets always are able to run 2133 with slight adjustments, 2133 can do 2400 etc.....a lot in OCing DRAM is if the CPU can carry the higher freq and if it can be done with reasonable timings and voltage i.e. if you have 1600/9 sticks and to get to 1866 it takes a CL of 11 (or +2 steps on the CL for a +1 step gain on freq (1600 to 1866) then it's not worth it, the sticks will perform better at 1600/9 opposed to 1866/11

Overclocking ram is a huge waste of time. Go look at benchmarks, you will NOT be able to perceive any difference at all. Playing with fire imo.

Looking at Benchmarks tells you very little (in the case of DRAM) as they are simple static tests that do a single thing other than what one stick does in comparison to another, in real world computing where people are multi-tasking, using memory centric apps, things in the background, etc is where higher freqs and amounts of DRAM shine and increase system performance....As far as OCing DRAM, many just want to get all the performance they can get for their money 😉
